Our classic loaf made with just unbleached flour, water, pink salt, and time.  Slow fermented for 18-24 hours with my starter, Ethel, this simple and wholesome bread has a golden crust, a soft interior, and that perfectly balanced tang.  Perfect for toast, sandwiches, or enjoying warm with butter - the way bread was meant to be.

Always a family and customer favorite, everyday staple.  

 

When you receive this loaf, you can crisp it back up in the oven at 350 degrees F for 5-15 minutes depending on your desired crisp.  Freshness depends on YOUR home humidity and temperature levels and shipping lengths. For best results, enjoy within 3-5 days at room temperature.  I prefer mine kept in the refrigerator (wink wink - it lasts way longer).  Another option would be to pre-slice the loaf and place in the freezer and pull a slice out at a time when you would like some bread.
