💚 RETURN, CANCELLATION & SHIPPING POLICY
All Sales Are Final
Because our products are handcrafted, made to order, and often perishable, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges on any items once an order has been placed.
This policy applies to:
Perishable Goods
- All skincare products
- Sourdough bread and baked goods
Due to FDA and food safety regulations, we cannot accept returns on any food, skincare, or hygiene products. These items cannot be restocked or resold once shipped.
Hygiene & Personal Care Items
For safety and regulatory reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges on any hygiene or personal‑care products, including but not limited to:
- soap
- tallow and non‑tallow skincare
- balms
- lotions
- salves
- lip products
- bath items
These items are final sale, whether opened or unopened.
Handmade & One‑of‑a‑Kind Items
- Crochet items
- Custom or made‑to‑order products
- Limited‑run or unique handmade goods
These items are created individually and cannot be restocked or resold. Natural variations in color, texture, shape, and appearance are normal and not considered defects.
💚 Freshness, Environment & Baked Goods
All baked goods are made fresh and shipped as quickly as possible. However, the freshness and longevity of baked goods can vary based on factors outside our control, including:
- temperature
- humidity
- time of year
- transit conditions
- how quickly the package is retrieved
- how the customer chooses to store the product
Because these conditions vary widely and are outside our control, we cannot offer refunds for baked goods that become stale, dry, or spoil after delivery.
Shipping Costs for Baked Goods
Shipping rates may be higher for baked goods because they are:
- heavier
- bulkier
- time‑sensitive
- perishable
Shipping is calculated directly by the carrier based on weight, distance, and speed. We do not add extra fees.
💚 Order Issues
If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or missing items, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photos at support@lesterfarmshomestead.com. We will gladly offer a replacement or store credit at our discretion.
We do not offer refunds for:
- buyer's remorse
- ordering the wrong item
- not reading product descriptions
- dissatisfaction with scent, texture, or handmade variations
- natural variations in handmade goods
💚 Order Cancellations
Orders may be canceled within 2 hours of purchase by emailing support@lesterfarmshomestead.com.
After this time, ingredients may already be prepared or items may already be in production, and cancellations are no longer possible.
If you ordered the wrong item or forgot to add something:
- If production has not begun, we can adjust your order.
- If production has begun, you may place an additional order.
- We will combine shipping when possible, but additional shipping charges may apply if the combined weight increases the carrier's rate.
💚 Shipping & Delivery
Once an order is marked Delivered by the carrier, we are not responsible for:
- stolen packages
- packages left outside
- incorrect addresses provided at checkout
- delays caused by the carrier or weather
- spoilage due to delayed retrieval

Warm Weather Notice
During warm weather, skincare products may soften or melt in transit. Heat can also affect the freshness and quality of baked goods. This is why it is important to retrieve your package as soon as possible after delivery.
