A bright, gently sweet sourdough with a touch of citrus and bursts of tart cranberry throughout. Slow-fermented with Ethel, my sourdough starter, and crafted with simple ingredients, this loaf brings a fresh twist to traditional sourdough.
The orange flavor pairs beautifully with the tang of cranberry, creating a perfectly balanced slice -- not overly sweet, just warmly inviting.
Delicious toasted with butter, served alongside tea, made into a beautiful breakfast treat, and perfect for those holiday gatherings.

When you receive this loaf, you can crisp it back up in the oven at 350 degrees F for 5-15 minutes depending on your desired crisp. Freshness depends on YOUR home humidity and temperature levels and shipping lengths. For best results, enjoy within 3-5 days at room temperature. I prefer mine kept in the refrigerator (wink wink - it lasts way longer). Another option would be to pre-slice the loaf and place in the freezer and pull a slice out at a time when you would like some bread.
