A gently sweet twist on our classic sourdough. This loaf is slow-fermented with my starter, Ethel, and layered with a light cinnamon sugar swirl - just enough sweetness to complement the warmth of the spice without overpowering the wholesome goodness of the bread, but not too much like those sugar loaded commercial breads. This loaf is a family favorite and grabbed off the shelves quickly by customers at every farmers market!
Each loaf is carefully crafted in my kitchen, and no two swirls are ever the same - making every loaf uniquely beautiful in its own way.
Available in a traditional sandwich-style loaf perfect for fitting in the toaster or a classic artisan boule.
Perfect toasted with butter, served alongside coffee, or enjoyed as a simple, comforting treat.
When you receive this loaf, you can crisp it back up in the oven at 350 degrees F for 5-15 minutes depending on your desired crisp. Freshness depends on YOUR home humidity and temperature levels and shipping lengths. For best results, enjoy within 3-5 days at room temperature. I prefer mine kept in the refrigerator (wink wink - it lasts way longer). Another option would be to pre-slice the loaf and place in the freezer and pull a slice out at a time when you would like some bread.
